Victoria the Great (1937) is a biography of Queen Victoria in the early years of her reign with her marriage to Prince Albert. The film was released in the year of King George VI's coronation. The movie was so successful that a sequel appeared the following year, 60 Glorious Years. Later films also based on Queen Victoria's life were The Mudlark (1950), Victoria Regina (1961), Mrs. Brown (1997) and Victoria & Albert (2001)[1].
