
Viasat is a DBS distributor and TV broadcaster, owned by the Swedish media conglomerate Modern Times Group. Broadcasting from London, the target markets are in the Nordic and the Baltic Countries. Their lineup can be received from the Sirius 2/3 satellites at 4.8°E with any DVB receiver equipped with a NDS VideoGuard descrambling module. Viasat’s main competitor on DTH distribution in the Nordic countries is Canal Digital, which has the larger market share.
