The Mad Miss Manton is a 1938 comedic mystery film starring Barbara Stanwyck as a madcap socialite who becomes involved in a murder and Henry Fonda as a newspaperman who earns her ire with a scornful editorial about her antics. This was the first of three screen pairings for the two screen legends, the others being The Lady Eve and You Belong to Me.
