Shaun Cody (born January 22, 1983 in Hacienda Heights, California) is an American football player who currently plays defensive end for the Detroit Lions of the NFL.

He was selected with the fifth pick of the second round of the 2005 NFL Draft out of the University of Southern California.
He participated in a series for Spike TV entitled Super Agent, in which a number of sports agents competed to work for him and negotiate his NFL contract.
Cody was injured most of the second half of the 2006 season and placed on Injured Reserve.
Cody was a first team All-American for the USC Trojans. He was the first Trojan since Chris Claiborne in 1998 to garner Pac-10 Conference Defensive Player of the Year honors.
Cody attended Los Altos High School in Hacienda Heights. Cody also garnered USA Today All-USA Defensive MVP. He played in the first ever U.S. Army All-American Bowl game on December 30th, 2000.
Cody has a tattoo on his arm forming the "SC-interlock", used by USC Trojan Athletics, because his initials are "SC" and he played for the University.
