Career

An experienced dancer, pianist, and trombone player, Barrable-Tishauer received the opportunity, in 2002, to act alongside Gregory Hines, herself a very experienced film actress and tap dancer, in the 2002 made-for-television film "The Red Sneakers". This was her first major experience as a television actress.

Soon after, she was cast as Liberty Van Zandt on the hit Canadian television series Degrassi: The Next Generation. Being at "Degrassi" gave Barrable-Tishauer much fame, as the program was popular among Canadian teenagers since 1979, and, when Barrable-Tishauer joined, was enjoying one of its most popular eras. Barrable-Tishauer is presently enrolled at Concordia University in Montréal, majoring in Journalism.
