Richard LeParmentier (born July 16, 1946) is an American actor best-known for appearing in Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope, which was his third film.

Career

He has appeared in over 50 films and television programs. He made his video game voice debut in Soldiers: Heroes of World War II as a narrator. He now resides in Bath, UK, and is now a screenwriter.

Personal life

In 1981 he married his longterm girlfriend Sarah Douglas, but they divorced in 1984.

Relationship with fans

He's a S.W.O.R.A. (Star Wars Outer Rim Alliance) ambassador and honorary member of the Allied Force Fan Club.
