Mitchell John "Mike" Frankovich (29 September 19091 January 1992) was a film producer and husband of the late actress Binnie Barnes (who converted from Judaism to Roman Catholicism for him, as he was a Roman Catholic), who was 6 years his senior; they adopted 3 children, including producer Peter Frankovich and production manager, Mike Frankovich Jr..

He played football for UCLA and was inducted into UCLA Athletic Hall of Fame in 1986.[1] He served as president of the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum Commission and helped to bring the Los Angeles Raiders football team and 1984 Summer Olympics to Los Angeles.

Mike Frankovich died of pneumonia and Alzheimer's disease on January 1, 1992 in California.
