Leave 'Em Laughing is a two-reel silent film from 1928 starring Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy as two men under the effects of laughing gas who cause a traffic jam and have difficulties with a traffic cop, played by Edgar Kennedy. This film is notable for Kennedy's first appearance in a Laurel and Hardy film.
While filming the laughing gas scene in the dentist's office, Laurel and Hardy's feigned laughter became so contagious to all around them that filming had to be halted for the day.
