Roman Catholic Diocese of Galway, Kilmacduagh and Kilfenora

The Roman Catholic Diocese of Galway, Kilmacduagh and Kilfenora (Irish: Deoise Ghaillimh, Chill Mhic Dhuach agus Chill Fhionnúrach) is a diocese of the Latin Rite of the Roman Catholic Church in Ireland. It has its origins in the ancient Wardenship of Galway (1484-1831). Following the abolition of the Wardenship by the Holy See in 1831 the first bishop of the new diocese was appointed in the same year.

The Diocese was constructed from the former Diocese of Galway which was merged into Kilmacdaugh and Kilfenora.
