The film centers on two strangers, Freeman (as himself, though the film makes out that he has not worked in four years) and a cashier played by Vega. Through circumstance, the two end up driving around Los Angeles together while having a number of conversations about life and exploring the differences and similarities between their worlds.
Cameo Appearances
The film played in only 15 theaters, taking in just over $40,000 in its first weekend. The total box office take was more than $185,000.[4]
Critical reaction to the film was mixed, with general praise for the work of the two main actors. As of June 23, 2008 the movie has had 62% positive reviews according to Rotten Tomatoes.[5]
The film was named one of the "Top Independent Films of 2006" by the National Board of Review.[6]
Although a soundtrack was not officially released, the following songs were included in the film. [7]
